Custodian

Role: Custodian responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization within a collection center, supporting daily operational efficiency. Responsibilities: perform cleaning of furniture, surfaces, windows, restrooms; conduct minor maintenance such as changing bulbs, plumbing, painting; monitor grounds and parking areas; assist with recycling, supply handling, and ensuring safety compliance; maintain confidentiality and potentially cross-train in other areas. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum three months custodial experience or related; ability to follow instructions, perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment. HighValue: experience in custodial or maintenance roles preferred; able to work extended hours, wear PPE, and handle hazardous chemicals; flexibility to work overtime; bilingual skills may be required.
