Custodian

Role: Custodian responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety at a collection center. Objectives include cleaning and disinfecting work areas, performing minor maintenance, monitoring grounds, and supporting operational logistics. Responsibilities encompass cleaning surfaces and equipment, trash removal, minor repairs (e.g., changing bulbs, fixing plumbing), inspecting restrooms, and handling supplies and shipping materials. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; at least 3 months custodial experience preferred; ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods. High-Value: experience in custodial or maintenance roles; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens; availability for overtime; bilingual skills may be preferred. Work setup: primarily on-site; extended hours may be required.
