Custodian

Role: Custodian responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the collection center. Objectives include cleaning surfaces, floors, and windows, performing minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing bulbs, repairing plumbing, painting), and ensuring a safe environment. Responsibilities encompass trash removal, grounds monitoring, supply management, restroom sanitation, and assisting in recycling activities. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; at least 3 months custodial experience preferred; ability to follow instructions, observe safety protocols, and handle physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds. Skills include manual dexterity, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to chemicals and hazards, and bilingual skills may be advantageous.
