Cryogenic Engineer

Role: Cryogenic Engineer focused on designing, analyzing, and supporting cryogenic systems critical to MRI superconducting magnets. Responsibilities: develop cryogenic hardware, perform thermal analyses, support manufacturing, troubleshoot system issues, and drive system efficiency improvements; collaborate across product development, manufacturing, and service teams. Requirements: Master's in Mechanical, Thermal, or Cryogenic Engineering or equivalent experience; hands-on cryogenic systems experience; knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and cryogenic hardware design. Preferred: PhD, experience with cryocoolers, superconducting magnets, vacuum systems, and simulation tools like ANSYS. High-Value: MRI applications, superconducting magnet technology, cryogenic thermal analysis, hardware development, and system reliability. Work setup: Based in Florence, SC, involving hands-on and analytical work, with potential support for manufacturing and field troubleshooting.
