Role Summary

Country General Manager Teva France. Lead and oversee the French affiliate to drive commercial growth and excellence, translating Teva EU strategy into local priorities, managing a team of over 200 FTEs, and collaborating with functional heads to ensure P&L accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Defining the French affiliate's long-term vision aligned with the Teva Pivot to Growth Strategy
  • Developing and implementing local strategies and tactics (commercial, financial, operational, market access, pricing/reimbursement, CSR, etc.) to transform the company into a high-performing biopharmaceutical enterprise
  • Establishing a strong corporate culture based on integrity, ethics, innovation, and performance; representing the company to stakeholders including customers, partners, institutions, media, public administration, government agencies, and professional unions
  • Developing commercial plans designed to optimize overall business performance and financial results (e.g. AOP and LRP)
  • Ensuring effective financial management, budgeting, and forecasting to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Engaging with Gx, Ix and Supply Chain teams to align and execute portfolio optimization, CSL improvements and best-in-class market access and launches
  • Acting as the subsidiary's ambassador at national and local levels; participating in strategic negotiations, regulatory matters, partnerships, and monitoring market developments and industry trends
  • Recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing and diverse team; leading and developing leadership assets
  • Fostering ethical leadership and compliance standards; promoting a Tone from the Top

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a commercial leadership role (P&L management experience preferred)
  • Master's degree in life or medical sciences, business, or equivalent (preferred)
  • General management and strong commercial expertise with the ability to strategize and execute
  • Track record of successful achievements and progression in a complex, fast-paced matrix environment; pharmaceuticals industry experience required
  • Ability to apply business acumen across multiple functions and drive innovation and growth
  • Experience creating and executing strategic plans; strong understanding of financials (P&L, accruals, balance sheet, capital investment, forecasting, supply chain)
  • Effective communication of strategies and decisions; strong leadership, inclusivity, and ability to build high-performing teams
  • Experience leading organizational transformation and developing organizational capabilities
