Coordinator II, Translational Biomarkers

The Coordinator II will perform clerical and administrative duties to support Translational Biomarkers projects and research in the Madison facility.

Responsibilities:
- Aid in scheduling, tracking, and reconciliation of clinical sample shipments
- Maintain a compliant biorepository of clinical, preclinical, and procured samples
- Maintain sample tracking and laboratory workflows in ELN/LIMS
- Ensure regulatory compliance and patient privacy protections in all sample handling activities
- Support planning and execution of clinical sample processing, including reagent procurement and workflow validation
- Maintain centralized documentation systems, vendor logs, and master schedules
- Facilitate operational communication and coordination within the Translational Biomarkers team

Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Biotechnology or related area and at least 5 years’ laboratory/research experience
- or Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology or related area and at least 1 year’s laboratory/research experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate to all levels
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities/studies; work in a fast-paced environment; work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of common molecular biology techniques and practices

Preferred:
- Previous biology lab experience; full-time or part-time experience
- Team-motivated; strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Wisconsin pay range: $60,000 USD - $75,000 USD
