Control System Technician II

Role: Control Systems Technician II supporting automation and control systems at Alcon's Fort Worth manufacturing facility. Responsibilities: install, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain campus-wide control systems (HVAC, environmental monitoring, energy plants); support validation activities (IQ/OQ); calibrate instrumentation; maintain documentation; troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, and hardware/software; support system upgrades and infrastructure projects; ensure GxP compliance; mentor team members. Requirements: High School diploma/equivalent; 4+ years relevant experience; strong troubleshooting, wiring, and control system skills. Preferred: technical degree in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or IT; HVAC/certification; experience with BAS (Johnson Controls, BACnet), PLCs (Allen-Bradley), SCADA (Ignition); familiarity with industrial protocols; regulated environment experience. Work setup: onsite Fort Worth; Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM CST; travel 0%.
