Role: Control Systems Technician II supports facility automation at Alcon's Fort Worth manufacturing site, focusing on installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of control systems for manufacturing and research operations. Responsibilities include supporting HVAC, environmental monitoring, and energy systems, performing validation (IQ/OQ), calibrating instrumentation, and maintaining documentation. The role involves diagnosing PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial hardware/software, supporting system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with GxP and safety standards. It also includes coordinating with vendors, supporting facility projects, and mentoring team members. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, 4+ years relevant experience, proficiency with automation systems and technical documentation, and strong troubleshooting skills. Onsite location with no travel required. Preferred qualifications include technical degrees in HVAC, electrical, or IT fields, HVAC certifications, experience with Johnson Controls BAS, PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell), SCADA (Ignition), industrial protocols (Modbus, BACnet), and experience in regulated environments.
