Role Summary
Content Supply Chain and AI Architect responsible for defining and delivering Generative AI-driven capabilities for AbbVie US Commercial Technology and Data product teams. Leads architecture for an integrated content ecosystem using technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Adobe, Python, LangChain, LangGraph, AWS, Snowflake, and integration tools to create differentiated experiences that engage health care providers and facilitate sustained, personalized conversations with integrated brand stories. Drives strategy, design, and implementation of scalable, containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines for GenAI solutions, and collaborates with data scientists, engineers, and designers to develop AI-powered tools and insights. Mentors the team to promote continuous learning and champions DevOps and GenAI best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Understand organization's vision, goals, and strategies. Aligns department priorities appropriately, determines critical success factors, evaluates, and pursues initiatives based on fit with strategies.
- Play an instrumental and influential role in driving Generative AI vision, strategy, and architecture for Content Supply Chain.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Generative AI and Content Supply Chain teams.
- Architect, design and implement systems, often using various Adobe tools to manage the content lifecycle, including project intake, planning, production, review, and distribution.
- Architect and deliver a container-based approach which makes app-hosting scalability effective.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the CI/CD pipelines for GenAI solutions.
- Define and deliver quality API access to multiple GenAI services.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline the solution change management.
- Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high performance.
- Identify areas of opportunity to optimize tasks using AI-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and designers to develop AI-powered tools and insights.
- Recruit, mentor, and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Promote best practices in Content Supply Chain/ GenAI through knowledge sharing and training programs.
- Communicate GenAI architecture strategies and initiatives to business stakeholders and leadership.
- Promote the value of GenAI and DevOps across the Commercial and BTS organizations.

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience; Master's Degree with 6 years of experience; or PhD with 2 years of experience.
- Required: Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or a similar role, with a focus on Content Supply Chain, AI/ML and Generative AI.
- Required: Strong understanding of generative AI techniques, including deep generative models, autoregressive models, and reinforcement learning for generative tasks.
- Required: Strong knowledge of Sales and Marketing ecosystem which includes Content Supply Chain, content lifecycle (content creation, review and distribution).
- Required: Hands-on experience of machine learning methodologies including advanced analytics tools (such as R and Python) along with applied mathematics, ML and Deep Learning frameworks and libraries and ML techniques.
- Required: Proven expertise with LLMs (Microsoft Azure Open AI - Chat GPT 4.0 and other LLM models) including API access for GenAI.
- Required: Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and management in the Generative AI space including experience with LLM OPS.
- Required: Understanding of AI agents (both worker and orchestrator) to facilitate decision making and deployment of complex applications.
- Required: Proven experience with Python development and troubleshooting code.
- Required: Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
- Required: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure as code.
- Required: Multi-year experience with AI and machine learning concepts and tools.
- Required: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: AbbVie and/or Commercial domain knowledge is a plus.
