Role: Construction Management lead overseeing large-scale capital projects (>$1BN) within Lilly's Global Facilities Delivery. Objectives: ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of construction on medical manufacturing sites, including both greenfield and brownfield projects. Responsibilities: supervise a team of 3β5 indirect reports, manage field construction activities from design to mechanical completion, control project budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders. Ensure adherence to safety, GMP, and quality standards, and develop safety and environmental plans. Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; 10+ years in capital project construction, including large-scale industrial or pharmaceutical manufacturing projects; experience managing multiple contractors and executing GMP-compliant construction. Preferred: pharmaceutical manufacturing construction experience (API, sterile, packaging), certifications such as PE, CCM, PMP, and experience outside the U.S. Additionally, the role involves extensive travel (~15-30%), full relocation, and onsite presence at project sites. High-value specifics include expertise in GMP, lean construction, safety leadership, and managing complex construction in pharma environments. The role reports to the Sr. Director of Projects and requires leadership in compliance, safety, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
