Congress Account Manager II

Role: Manage global congresses and meetings within AbbVie's Finance Shared Services Meetings & Events team, focusing on large, complex Tier 1 congresses across multiple therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include end-to-end project management, budget planning, stakeholder communication, training, and on-site event execution, with approximately 50% travel domestically and internationally. Serve as a subject matter expert on congress execution trends, lead onboarding and training for new team members, and oversee logistics, vendor management, and internal staffing for events. Qualifications: Bachelor's preferred in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or equivalent industry experience; 9+ years in project management or event planning, with strong critical thinking, negotiation, and multi-tasking skills. Requirements include proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, excellent communication, and self-motivation.
