Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior computational genomics partner to discovery and project teams; primary bioinformatics and genomics subject-matter expert for assigned programs
- Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of human genetics, genomics, and sequencing-based studies to address key biological and translational questions
- Apply sophisticated computational and statistical approaches to analyze large-scale human genetic, genomic, and functional genomics datasets
- Distill complex analyses into clear conclusions, recommendations, and next steps for diverse scientific audiences
- Provide scientific ownership and accountability for human genetics and genomics deliverables, ensuring high-quality, timely outputs
- Partner with computational and genomics method development teams to improve robustness, scalability, and usability of internal analysis approaches
- Stay current with advances in human genetics, genomics technologies, and computational biology; advocate for approaches that could accelerate research programs

Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience applying computational methods/bioinformatics tools to large-scale biological datasets; proficiency in R or Python, Unix/Linux, and high-performance computing
- Solid grounding in statistics and genetics, including human genetic variation in disease biology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative, growth-oriented mindset and commitment to scientific rigor

Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, human genetics, systems biology, bioengineering, or related field; 3+ years post-doc/industry experience; or MS with 8+ years industry experience
- Demonstrated excellence in analysis, visualization, and interpretation of human genetics, genomic, and NGS data

Pay Range: $129,900 - $194,900
