Key Responsibilities:
- Partner as a trusted strategic advisor to GPS, R&D and Medical, providing competitive intelligence support for assigned vaccines brands/programs.
- Collect and synthesize internal/external data to produce proactive, timely, actionable competitive insights and predictive competitor landscape assessments.
- Make critical recommendations based on current/future competitive drivers; integrate CI deliverables into commercialization stage gates (brand planning, forecasting, evidence generation, strategic decisions).
- Shape rapid coverage of key events; help build processes for fast response to ad hoc analysis.
- Lead competitive intelligence planning and congress coverage for key congresses; ensure preparedness, consolidate insights, and disseminate post-congress findings.
- Contribute to evolving CI capabilities (best-in-class CI) and increase CI value to GSK.
- Manage and coach the broader resource structure supporting the CI team.
- Engage third-party agencies as needed and ensure CI work follows appropriate compliance/ethical business practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in healthcare/pharma, strategy consulting, or financial institution.
- Competitive intelligence experience (pharma or relevant CI/investment/consulting environment).
- Strong understanding of medicine/vaccine development and commercialization (preclinical through marketing) and pharmaceutical/vaccine business practices.
- Ability to distill complex information into impactful deliverables.
- Experience in a matrix environment with strong stakeholder/relationship management across functions and geographies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Science.
- Deep experience across multiple vaccines indications.
- Commercial experience in pharma (global/regional, marketing, sales, etc.).
- Proven ability to challenge/influence senior stakeholders.
