Commercial Strategy & Operations Director (Rhinology/Gastro/Allergy) โ Cambridge, MA
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute operational planning (weekly leadership meetings, offsites, governance) with clear outcomes/accountability.
- Establish governance frameworks to improve decision-making velocity and cross-functional alignment.
- Translate franchise strategy into executable tactics to achieve business objectives.
- Lead high-priority acceleration projects with measurable business impact.
- Champion AI-enabled transformation: identify high-impact AI use cases and embed AI tools into day-to-day workflows.
- Identify and remove organizational bottlenecks to accelerate execution.
- Own strategic business planning and the Budget/C1/C2 budget process, including scenario planning and risk assessment.
- Provide strategic counsel via business intelligence, trend analysis, and proactive issue identification.
- Synthesize complex US/Global data into narratives for business reviews.
- Drive prioritization and execution of commercial activities; ensure knowledge sharing across brands.
- Lead analytical deep-dives with Marketing/Global to uncover growth opportunities.
- Serve as strategic proxy for the GM in critical meetings/events/decisions.
- Create executive-level communications and presentations (including Investor Relations).
- Execute mission-critical cross-brand initiatives and manage Alliance governance.
- Optimize leadership effectiveness and drive culture transformation.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
- 7โ10 yearsโ experience in top-tier consulting, commercial operations, sales/marketing, or digital health.
- Proven track record delivering strategic initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Strong understanding of the US pharmaceutical landscape (commercial, regulatory, market dynamics).
Required Skills/Experience:
- Hands-on AI tools/applications experience (e.g., LLMs, automation, analytics) and ability to scale adoption.
- Demonstrated operational improvement and performance management experience.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Executive-level communication/presentation skills; C-suite experience.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced ambiguity with high ownership; strong matrix leadership.
