Role Summary

Commercial Finance Manager based in Jacksonville, FL, is a key finance partner to US Sales and Marketing for Johnson & Johnson Vision. The role leads a team of two Financial Analysts delivering value-based analytics on approximately $250M in annual commercial investments and works with the Commercial Team to maximize US Vision Care performance and meet financial commitments. Additional responsibilities include supporting new product introductions, leading investment strategies related to BME and Dx, and guiding long-term financial decisions for J&J Visionโ€™s e-commerce initiatives (Acuvue Checkout & Shop). The position reports to the US VC Finance Senior Manager and supports the VP of Marketing and other US VC leaders with timely financial insights and updates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial analytics development for new product launches and e-commerce strategies being implemented by the business.
  • Lead investment strategies related to BME and Dx to maximize on allocated budgets.
  • Accurate completion of all quarter close responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all SOX requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and strong performance of the team.

Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelorโ€™s degree is required, preferably with a major in Finance or Accounting. MBA, CMA or CPA is preferred.
  • Required: A minimum of 5 years in progressive financial accounting and analysis experience is required.
  • Required: A strong understanding of sales-related accounting and reserves is required.
  • Required: An analytical mentality along with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong business relationships is required.
  • Required: Proficiency in financial analysis and proactive idea generation is required.
  • Required: Experience partnering with and presenting to senior leadership is required.
  • Required: Ability to clearly articulate sophisticated financial information in an easy-to-follow manner is required.
  • Required: Ability to command and embrace change and handle risk and uncertainty is required.
  • Required: This position is located in Jacksonville, FL and may require up to 10% travel.
  • Preferred: Experience with statistical forecasting models and software (SAS, R, Minitab, Crystal Ball) is preferred.
  • Preferred: People leadership experience is preferred.
  • Preferred: SAP and TM1 knowledge is preferred.
