Commercial Analytics Manager
What You Will Do
Lead insights generation by integrating secondary data sources and partnering with Business Analytics and Insights (BAI) colleagues to understand brand performance and provide tactical recommendations.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Design and perform secondary data analytics to support strategic decision-making
- Lead analytical execution (implement solutions, manage scope/timelines, coordinate results readout)
- Enable data-driven experimentation by establishing KPIs/leading indicators, evaluating experiment effectiveness, and guiding teams with actionable insights and optimization recommendations
- Work cross-functionally to synthesize findings and develop stakeholder-ready recommendations
- Provide senior leadership and brand teams an objective, rigorous perspective on analytics and performance management
- Develop analyses using complex sources (HCP/account demand, claims, EMR, specialty pharmacy, etc.) to create a holistic view of the brand
- Manage external vendor relationships to meet business needs and execute analytics
- Enhance team capabilities by researching and implementing new tools/methodologies/best practices and new data sources
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree OR Master’s + 2 years analytics OR Bachelor’s + 4 years OR Associate’s + 8 years OR High school/GED + 10 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating secondary data
- Strong knowledge of data/analytics/research and/or dashboarding/reporting
- Ability to define business issues and address them via analytics/research
- Strong analysis + project management; turn unstructured issues into actionable recommendations
- Drive implementation of improved methodologies/processes
- Strong presentation skills (verbal/visual via PowerPoint)
- Effective cross-functional collaboration to shape brand strategy and identify risks/opportunities
