Commercial Analytics Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design and perform secondary data analytics to support strategic decision making.
- Lead analytical execution by implementing solutions, ensuring progress to timelines/scope, and coordinating result readouts.
- Cross-functionally synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Provide senior leadership and brand teams with an objective, rigorous perspective on secondary data analytics and performance management.
- Develop and deliver analyses using complex data sources (HCP and account-level demand, claims, electronic medical records, specialty pharmacy) to understand the brand holistically.
- Manage external vendor relationships to prioritize business needs and enable effective analytics execution.
- Enhance commercial data/analytics capabilities by researching and implementing new analytical tools, methodologies, best practices, and new data sources.
- May telecommute.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a project lead.
- 4 years in:
- Data analytics using SQL and Python.
- Data visualization (Tableau or Power BI).
- Identifying secondary data sources (including IQVIA, CMS, Lab Data) to answer business questions.
- Understanding analytical approaches’ strengths/limitations and customizing use by use case.
- Project management for vendor relationships and analytics execution.
- Providing leadership perspective on secondary data analytics and performance management.
- Consolidating insights into a story that drives strategic decisions.
- Recommending opportunities to enhance business performance.
