Coating Operator III

Schedule:
- 1st Shift - 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday to Friday

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Safely operate coating equipment and complete coating operations in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance.
- “A” clean spray nozzle by dismantling, thoroughly cleaning to remove residual impurities, and re-assembling (before changeover of different product/color).
- Calibrate spray pump before starting a new batch; check calibration status of all machine/equipment.
- Enter required data into all coating use log books.
- Complete batch records 100% accurate, online, and provide to next department/Q.A. audit on time.
- Inform engineering on Dust Collector clean-up to maintain required exhaust air pressure.
- Identify material/room status by label; check batch before start and enter coating room.
- Check coating nozzles/piping/air pressure and temperature recorder in/out before starting batch.
- Ensure compressed air filter on the machine has no water.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (preferred).
- Experience: With HS/GED, 5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing; less than HS/GED, 6+ years proven related experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Skills:
- Read/write/communicate in English (advanced).
- High school-level math and mechanical skills (advanced).

- Attention to detail and accuracy (advanced).

Specialized Knowledge:
- Excellent coating equipment and process knowledge.

Additional Requirement:
- Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
