Role Summary

Co-Op – Medical Device Engineer to join our technical operations team working on Organon’s medical devices and combination products for women's health.

Responsibilities

  • Execute device test methods for design verification from method development through final test reports, in collaboration with Technical Operations Engineers.
  • Work in SolidWorks to build device drawings to support technical projects.
  • Work with tensile and compression test equipment.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, optimism, resilience, and high technical acumen.

Qualifications

  • Required: Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering/scientific discipline.
  • Required: Highly organized, problem-solving, and methodical in completing technical assignments.
  • Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Required: Comfortable challenging the status quo professionally for project and patient outcomes.
  • Required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Skills

  • CAD modeling and drawings (SolidWorks or similar) – Preferred.
  • Experience with Instron tensile/compression equipment – Preferred.

Education

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering/scientific discipline.
