Co-op, Manufacturing Technical Operations

Role Summary

The Manufacturing Technical Operations (MTO) team ensures manufacturing processes, documentation, and systems are robust, compliant, and continuously improved. This 6-month co-op role supports the Large Scale Manufacturing Facility in RTP and offers cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Automation, Engineering, and Manufacturing Sciences to enable operational readiness and technology implementation.

Responsibilities

• Create and/or revise manufacturing instructions and/or batch records
• Perform work necessary to implement electronic batch records (learn the Syncade system)
• Work with manufacturing to assess their requests for documentation updates
• Assist with campaign restart activities for various products
• Assist with technical transfer activities for clinical and commercial campaigns
• Support the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) project with the rollout of EBR
• Revise Manufacturing documentation and instructions
• Assist with technical transfer activities to manufacture a new product
• Assist with manufacturing requests for continuous improvements
• Assist in creation of an internal AI chatbot

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.

Skills

• Proficient in MS Office programs & Technical Writing
• Self-starter with good communication skills and willingness to learn new skills
• Attention to detail for troubleshooting and document revisions

Education

• Candidate should be pursuing a BS degree. Open to many disciplines of study.
