Role Summary
The Manufacturing Technical Operations (MTO) team ensures manufacturing processes, documentation, and systems are robust, compliant, and continuously improved. This 6-month co-op role supports the Large Scale Manufacturing Facility in RTP and offers cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Automation, Engineering, and Manufacturing Sciences to enable operational readiness and technology implementation.
Responsibilities
- Create and/or revise manufacturing instructions and/or batch records
- Perform work necessary to implement electronic batch records (learn the Syncade system)
- Work with manufacturing to assess their requests for documentation updates
- Assist with campaign restart activities for various products
- Assist with technical transfer activities for clinical and commercial campaigns
- Support the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) project with the rollout of EBR
- Revise Manufacturing documentation and instructions
- Assist with technical transfer activities to manufacture a new product
- Assist with manufacturing requests for continuous improvements
- Assist in creation of an internal AI chatbot
Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.
Skills
- Proficient in MS Office programs & Technical Writing
- Self-starter with good communication skills and willingness to learn new skills
- Attention to detail for troubleshooting and document revisions
Education
- Candidate should be pursuing a BS degree. Open to many disciplines of study.
