Corporate Functions
Responsibilities:
- Support trade operations and further develop the Compliance Program to enhance Data Governance and analytics
- Assess import-export requirements across multiple countries, including Harmonized Tariff Classification and Country of Origin
- Partner on deployment of the Harmonized Tariff Classification Center of Excellence and workbench
- Learn pharmaceutical and ingredient classification methodology using applicable requirements (e.g., General Rules of Interpretation)
- Work on country of origin determination rules and data analytics
- Help create dashboards to improve efficiency in classification processes for the US and other countries
- Collaborate with other functional areas
- Enhance data governance by navigating systems, building database tools, and enhancing processes
- Optimize regional Trade Compliance Classification capabilities, including current processes/tools and AI enhancements

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Interested in or studying Global Trade Compliance and Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields
- Proficiency in databases and data analytics
- Attention to detail; ability to investigate; resourceful
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; motivated to collaborate and reach out outside GTC
- Curious about investigating regulations around the world
- Able to work independently and with a globally based team
- Some experience with trade compliance regulations such as classification (plus)

Education:
- Master’s Program in International Trade, International Relations, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field

- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to scheduled start date
- Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university, or skills program/apprenticeship
