Co-op, Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics

Role: 6-month student co-op in Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics at Biogen, focusing on quantitative modeling and data analysis to support drug development in autoimmune therapies. Responsibilities: contribute to mechanistic QSP model development, explore AI/ML techniques to enhance modeling workflows, perform model-based meta-analyses (MBMA), analyze preclinical and clinical data, and support dissemination through presentations and publications. Requirements: Ph.D. (3rd year+) or Master’s/Pharm.D. with relevant experience in quantitative, computational, or systems biology modeling; proficiency in R, Python, MATLAB; experience with biological datasets; strong quantitative and problem-solving skills; excellent communication; ability to work collaboratively. Preferred: background in QSP, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology, systems biology, biomedical engineering, biostatistics, or data science disciplines. High-Value: industry-related experience with model-informed drug development, AI/ML integration in pharmacology, autoimmune therapeutic focus, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
