Role: Co-op in the Clinical Biomarker Laboratory focusing on flow cytometry assay development and optimization. Objectives include performing ex vivo stimulation and high-parameter ICS assays, analyzing immune responses, and supporting assay refinement by evaluating reagents, sample stability, and sample handling methods. Responsibilities encompass laboratory experiments with live cells, data analysis using FCS Express, and contributing to assay development documentation. Requirements: current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Immunology, or related fields; foundational lab skills including pipetting and safety; coursework in cell biology, biochemistry, and immunology preferred. Preferred skills: experience with flow cytometry, cell/tissue culture, in vitro transfection, and immunoassays; prior internship experience advantageous. High-Value: involvement in mRNA technology, immune response assays, high-parameter flow cytometry (β‰₯19-color spectral cytometry), and assay troubleshooting. Work setup: primarily in-person at Norwood, MA, with a 70/30 in-office work model. Duration: January 18 – June 25, 2027, full availability required.
