Role: The Cell Models & Molecular Biology (CMMB) Co-op is a 6-month internship (Jan-Jun 2027) focused on developing and characterizing in vitro cellular models, particularly involving human iPSCs and derived cell types, for disease biology and drug discovery research. Responsibilities include generating, maintaining, and characterizing iPSCs, automating lab protocols using robotic platforms, performing molecular and cellular biology assays, and supporting protocol development and troubleshooting. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional research teams to develop experimental workflows and new capabilities. Requirements: currently enrolled student (Bachelorโs, Masterโs, or PhD candidate) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related fields; hands-on lab experience preferred; familiarity with iPSC culture, molecular biology, or automation advantageous.
