Role: Co-op in Statistical Innovation & Data Analytics at Moderna, focusing on AI-enabled statistical and clinical data solutions to enhance decision-making and regulatory readiness across clinical programs. Responsibilities: develop and evaluate AI/ML solutions for clinical data analysis, including LLMs, agentic workflows, and automation tools; design scalable AI pipelines; create interactive visualizations; collaborate with statisticians, data scientists, and clinical teams; contribute to validation and documentation of AI capabilities. Requirements: pursuing a master's, doctoral, or advanced undergraduate degree in statistics, biostatistics, data science, computational biology, or related fields; proficiency in Python (required) and R (preferred); strong statistical and quantitative skills; interest or experience in GenAI/LLMs, machine learning, AI deployment; familiarity with cloud, APIs, containerization, SQL is a plus; excellent communication and analytical skills.
