Job Title: Cloud Network Design Engineer
Job Duties:
- Communicate with peers, architects, engineering, deployment, operations, supplier management, and vendors to drive network infrastructure changes and improvements.
- With senior engineers, develop next-generation network solutions (e.g., SDN/NFV, SDWAN, WAN, cloud-enabled remote access, SASE, network security, NG firewalls, IAM best practices, cloud networking) including documentation, templates, use cases, and acceptance testing.
- Advise on network standards; provide supporting documentation and training to regional support teams.
- Collaborate with Automation & Tools Engineering to develop scripts for automated configuration deployment.
- Develop and execute release management (documentation updates, validation testing, and communicating new code versions).
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for peer organizations and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the offered role or a Cloud Network Design Engineer-related occupation.
- May telecommute.
