About the Role
Leads and manages operational activities to support planning, initiation, conduct, and close out of assigned clinical studies (domestic and global). Manages studies using Contract Research Organizations (CROs) as well as internally run studies.

Your Contributions
- Ensures clinical studies are conducted in compliance with FDA regulations, EU Directive, ICH guidelines, and NBI SOPs/policies
- Serves as primary point of contact for clinical operations aspects of assigned studies
- Participates in technical and study design discussions; provides input to trial outlines, protocols, and clinical study reports
- Manages CROs and other contract service providers (CSPs)
- Leads study team meetings; manages study issues; develops and manages study timelines to meet corporate goals
- Identifies enrollment barriers and develops recruitment solutions
- Manages internally run studies (without CROs), including management of CRAs and development of monitoring plans/on-site monitoring guidelines/forms/tools; performs onsite and co-monitoring visits as needed
- Collaborates with clinical operations to develop, implement, and enforce NBI standard processes across clinical programs

Requirements
- BS/BA AND 6+ years of clinical trial management experience (including CRO/vendor management, budget scope monitoring, site monitoring, or related). OR Master’s AND 4+ years related experience
- Detailed knowledge of clinical drug development process (ICH, GCP, FDA regulations, EU Directive)
- Excellent knowledge of clinical operations from start-up through close-out
- Broad trial management protocol/process knowledge; strong understanding of Clinical Research industry
- Ability to identify/organize clinical resources, set objectives, direct others, plan ahead, and manage time
- Knowledge of best practices; works to improve tools/processes
- Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams; leadership skills
- Excellent computer skills, communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines; strong project management
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and deliver results; analyze data to drive decisions
