GENERAL SUMMARY:
- The Clinical Trial Manager will support clinical trial activities. Reports to the Director of Clinical Operations and manages day-to-day operations of one or more Phase 1–3 clinical trials, including start-up, conduct, and close-out.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trial Management
- Serve as primary contact for protocol execution; oversee CRO/study service providers/consultants
- Lead cross-functional study execution and deliverables
- Track/report milestones, metrics, and timelines to leadership
- Ensure trials are executed per ICH GCP, regulations, protocol, and company SOPs
- Support preparation/review of study documents (protocol, consent, IB, monitoring plan, PS, CRFs, SAP, CSR, etc.)
- Maintain Trial Master File (TMF); support audit issue resolution and audit readiness
- Participate in outsourcing/vendor selection; proactively support issue resolution and process improvements
- Support feasibility, execution plan, and site selection
- Select/train CRO staff, monitors, investigational sites, and service providers
- Support clinical trial agreements (with legal)
- Manage budgets (reporting, projections), negotiate/finalize site contracts and budgets
- Manage ongoing data review; conduct site qualification/initiation/monitoring/close-out visits
- Oversee outsourced monitoring; track/review protocol deviations
- Forecast clinical supplies and study drug/supplies

Department Management
- May manage/oversee junior staff; support SOP/department initiatives; travel as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.A./B.S. in Science
- 6+ years clinical research (biotech or similar), including 2+ years supporting a retina clinical trial
- Global APAC experience desired

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of GCP/ICH and regulatory requirements; strong clinical study management
- Ability to drive protocol execution to meet timeline, budget, and quality
- Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, conflict resolution, prioritization
- MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook); working knowledge of MS Project

COMPENSATION:
- Base salary range: $150,000–$170,000.

Travel: ~5%
