Main Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to CSO leadership on portfolio performance; provide evidence-based recommendations impacting investment decisions, resource allocation, and priorities.
- Drive measurable improvements in study delivery timelines, cost efficiency (with financial partners), and quality outcomes; develop and maintain Study KPI frameworks.
- Analyze clinical endpoint, biomarker, and patient-reported outcome data across indications.
- Monitor/benchmark clinical study performance metrics vs. industry standards; conduct deep-dive analyses on at-risk studies and support mitigation planning.
- Partner with study teams to monitor delivery performance and risks; provide early warning signals and evidence-based recommendations; support escalation and cross-functional performance reviews.
- Prepare insights for governance meetings, boards, audits, and inspections.
- Lead next-generation proactive performance intelligence (AI predictive models, automation, decision-support); advance frameworks via automation/advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with Digital partners to deploy GenAI copilots and decision-support platforms (e.g., TrialPulse, Nexus).
- Drive continuous improvement; create study performance playbooks and best practices; identify systemic cross-study issues and support capability maturity benchmarking.
- Partner with CSO executives and governance committees; support Head of MPO coordination/oversight; align with MPO Transformation and Digital/AI teams; mentor on performance analytics.

Qualifications
- 5–10+ years in clinical operations, performance management, strategy consulting, audit, or R&D analytics; proven influence at leadership level with measurable impact.
- Strong KPI design, root-cause analysis, operational analytics, forecasting; clinical trial process and cycle-time/study delivery operations knowledge.
- Proficiency in Power BI or advanced Excel; strong PowerPoint storytelling.
- Exposure to predictive analytics, AI tools, automation, or digital platforms (asset).
- Advanced business or scientific degree; related degree preferred.
- Fluent English; French a plus.
