Main Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to CSO leadership on portfolio performance; provide evidence-based recommendations that influence investment decisions, resource allocation, and strategic priorities.
- Drive measurable improvements in study delivery timelines, cost efficiency (with financial partners), and quality outcomes; develop and maintain Study KPI frameworks.
- Analyze clinical endpoint data, biomarker results, and patient-reported outcomes; monitor performance metrics across indications and therapeutic areas.
- Monitor competitive landscape and benchmark indication performance against industry standards.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on at-risk studies and support mitigation planning.
- Partner with CSO departments and study teams to monitor delivery performance and risks; provide early warning signals and evidence-based recommendations.
- Support cross-functional performance reviews, escalation pathways, and governance materials for meetings/boards, audits, and inspections.
- Lead design of next-generation proactive performance intelligence capabilities (AI predictive models, automation, decision-support) to anticipate and manage delivery risk.
- Advance performance intelligence via automation, advanced analytics, predictive tools; collaborate to deploy GenAI copilots, automation pipelines, and decision-support platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement of timelines/efficiency; create performance playbooks/best practices; identify systemic cross-study issues; support capability maturity assessments and benchmarking.

About You
- 5–10+ years in clinical operations, performance management, strategy consulting, audit, or R&D analytics; strong KPI design, root-cause analysis, operational analytics, and forecasting.
- Experience with clinical trial processes, cycle time drivers, and study delivery operations.
- Proficiency in Power BI or advanced Excel; strong PowerPoint storytelling; exposure to predictive analytics/AI/automation/digital platforms is an asset.
- Education: advanced business or scientific degree; degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Life Sciences, Public Health, or related preferred.
- Languages: fluent English (spoken/written); French is a plus.
