Clinical Scientist / Medical Director - Ophthalmic Gene Therapy Biotech

Role: Medical Director / Clinical Scientist providing scientific and medical leadership for inherited retinal disease (IRD) clinical programs, overseeing study design, safety review, and regulatory support. Responsibilities: develop protocols, review safety/efficacy data, contribute to endpoint and eligibility criteria, support investigator/site engagement, and collaborate on regulatory submissions and publications. Requirements: MD, DO, or equivalent with clinical development experience; knowledge of ophthalmology, retinal diseases, or gene therapy preferred; experience with OCT, microperimetry, and clinical data review; strong scientific writing skills; familiar with GCP.
