Clinical Scientist 2 or 3, Clinical Development

Role: Clinical Scientist 2 or 3 in Clinical Development at Xenon Pharmaceuticals, focusing on neuroscience-related therapeutics. Responsibilities: lead study design, protocol development, and clinical trial oversight; contribute to program strategy; review and interpret clinical data; collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, and Regulatory; support regulatory documentation and scientific interactions. Requirements: MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacology or related fields; 2-8 years of industry experience with a focus on clinical research, preferably in neuroscience or CNS disorders; working knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA/EMA environments; strong communication, organization, and scientific analytical skills. Preferred: experience in neuroscience, psychiatry, neurology, or related therapeutic areas; experience working with investigators, CROs, and external experts. High-Value: involvement in late-stage (Phase 3) epilepsy and mood disorder trials, development of regulatory submissions, expertise in GxP, and cross-functional collaboration. Work Setup: hybrid Boston, MA, requiring at least two onsite days per week.
