Territory: Field-based position; openings available nationwide.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to educate HCP customers and staff, aligned with commercial objectives (prioritized target engagements, account management where applicable, business assessment/analysis, resource utilization and impact).
- Educate cardiologists, rheumatologists, and other decisionmakers to initiate Kiniksa’s approved product for recurrent pericarditis.
- Provide comprehensive education on Kiniksa OneConnect Patient Services and support program.
- Facilitate short-term and future opportunities through virtual/in-person one-on-ones, small group discussions, peer-to-peer programs, and presentations.
- Exceed annual and quarterly sales performance goals and deliver on tactical resource execution.
- Coordinate with territory partner on HCP targets and customer engagement plan to maximize reach and impact.
- Ensure cross-functional efficiencies and collaboration with field sales partner teams.
- Serve as an external representative for HCP stakeholders as a reliable, trusted resource for company and product information.
- Act in a compliant manner with integrity and in alignment with internal/external guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain expenses within assigned budget parameters.
- Document field activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of biopharmaceutical sales experience; rare disease/specialty therapeutic and/or cardiology experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience promoting injectables or reconstituted injectable products preferred.
- Track record of sales success; highly motivated to achieve results.
- Demonstrated strategic account management experience.
- Experience with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB services, and Patient Support programs.
- Working knowledge of compliant and ethical business practices.
- Ability to collaborate consistently with internal/external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Willing to travel up to 75–80% of the time (primarily in assigned territory) and hold a valid driver’s license.
Compensation: Sales Incentive plan; sales pay range $180,000–$200,000 USD.
