Position Summary
- Call on practicing physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other health-related organizations in assigned territory (Los Angeles North, CA).
- Provide current product information and approved indications to support appropriate use and achieve territory business potential per company policies.
Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Meet territory goals (sales, market share, doctor calls, program planning).
- Monitor/analyze territory results; maintain up-to-date business plan.
- Ensure documentation and reports are timely and accurate.
- Demonstrate clinical understanding and communicate product information clearly and accurately.
- Plan/organize daily sales call activities; maximize achievement of objectives.
- Persist despite setbacks; maintain positive customer impressions and professional image.
- Maintain communication with Area Sales Manager and leadership; conduct field work.
- Maintain company-provided equipment; attend overnight sales training.
- Adjust plans based on work environment changes; represent at conferences as applicable.
- Complete special projects/assignments.
Qualifications
- BS/BA required.
Experience/Skills
- 2+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales with proven success.
- Preferred: injectable experience; specialty pharmacy/buy-and-bill product selling; drug-device/technology experience requiring physician protocol change.
- Valid driverβs license; computer proficient; strong customer focus/teamwork.
- Passion for patient outcomes; emotional intelligence, grit/growth mindset; ability to access key prescribers; persuasive/presentation + active listening; initiative; results-oriented; seeks feedback/coaching; collaboration; integrity/compliance.
