Territory: Field-based position covering the Long Beach, CA area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to educate HCPs and staff; prioritize target engagements, manage accounts (where applicable), and analyze business performance and resource impact.
- Educate cardiologists and rheumatologists to initiate Kiniksa’s approved product for patients with recurrent pericarditis.
- Provide comprehensive education on Kiniksa One Connect Patient Services and support program.
- Identify short-term and future opportunities via virtual/in-person one-on-ones, small groups, peer-to-peer programs, and presentations.
- Achieve quarterly and annual commercial goals and meet/exceed sales performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with field sales partner teams.
- Serve as a trusted external representative to HCP stakeholders.
- Maintain expense discipline within budget; document field activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of biopharmaceutical sales experience (rare disease/specialty and/or cardiology preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred: experience promoting injectable or reconstitution injectable products.
- Track record of sales success; highly motivated.
- Demonstrated strategic account management.
- Experience with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB services, and Patient Support programs.
- Working knowledge of compliant/ethical business practices.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Travel 75–80%; valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
- Base pay range: $180,000–$200,000 USD; includes a Sales Incentive plan.
