Position Summary
The Technical Delivery Lead in Clinical Results will be responsible for hands-on technical delivery, portfolio execution and oversight of technologies that ingest, transform, and manage clinical data across a complex, highly regulated laboratory ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and improve Clinical Results Lab data ingestion, transformation, integration, and management; drive roadmap and strategy.
- Use AI-assisted engineering to accelerate work and improve quality; champion automation and operational efficiency.
- Build integrations and data services using APIs and event-driven architecture; partner with business leaders, Product Owners, and Architects.
- Provide hands-on problem-solving and technical oversight across agile delivery teams to ensure quality, security, data integrity, and validation by design.
- Ensure solutions meet GxP, data-integrity, security, and performance requirements.
- Serve as core execution lead; influence internal leaders and external vendors; represent Tech@Lilly in cross-functional forums.
- Collaborate to align delivery to standards and continuously evolve platforms to stay resilient, compliant, and scalable.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/IT/Data/Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of technology experience.
- Experience leveraging AI in day-to-day engineering and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability in data integration, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication/collaboration.
- Experience in clinical development or regulated (GxP) environment; familiarity with clinical data standards/data integrity.
- Exposure to AI/agentic capabilities for data pipelines.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization, or infrastructure-as-code; relevant cloud/data/AI-ML certifications or coursework.
