Role Summary

Clinical Research Technician I β€šΓ„Γ¬ on-site, Daytona Beach, FL. Support the Clinical Pharmacology Start-up team in initiating Early Phase clinical trials for clients with speed and efficiency. Work with leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development.

Responsibilities

  • You will perform hands on practical/administrative activities of clinical trials in Clinical Pharmacology in line with protocol and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings.
  • Phlebotomy skills (preferred, not required).
  • Preparation and accurate recording of ECGs/Holterβ€šΓ„Γ΄s.
  • Collection and processing of biological samples as specified in the protocol and ensures the proper distribution of those samples.
  • Monitors meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants.
  • Assist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipment.
  • Assist with screening procedures as needed.
  • Undertake any other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements
  • 0 β€šΓ„Γ¬ 1 year of clinical research experience
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools or controls, including a computer keyboard, for up to 6 hours per day
  • Must be able to stand and/or bend for up to 6 hours per day
  • CPR/AED Certification is required for the position
