      Role Summary
 Clinical Research Technician I βΓΓ¬ on-site, Daytona Beach, FL. Support the Clinical Pharmacology Start-up team in initiating Early Phase clinical trials for clients with speed and efficiency. Work with leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 - You will perform hands on practical/administrative activities of clinical trials in Clinical Pharmacology in line with protocol and regulatory requirements.
 
 - Accurately perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings.
 
 - Phlebotomy skills (preferred, not required).
 
 - Preparation and accurate recording of ECGs/HolterβΓΓ΄s.
 
 - Collection and processing of biological samples as specified in the protocol and ensures the proper distribution of those samples.
 
 - Monitors meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants.
 
 - Assist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipment.
 
 - Assist with screening procedures as needed.
 
 - Undertake any other duties as required.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - High School Diploma or equivalent
 
 - Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements
 
 - 0 βΓΓ¬ 1 year of clinical research experience
 
 - Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools or controls, including a computer keyboard, for up to 6 hours per day
 
 - Must be able to stand and/or bend for up to 6 hours per day
 
 - CPR/AED Certification is required for the position
