Clinical Research Physician - Development, Neuroscience

Role: Development Clinical Research Physician specializing in late-phase and marketed psychiatric drug development, supporting registration and commercialization. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical trial conduct, medical monitoring, adverse event reporting, reviewing protocols, study reports, publications, and regulatory submissions; collaborating on clinical strategies, product lifecycle planning, and external medical engagements. Ensures compliance with global regulations (FDA, ICH, CPMP), GCPs, and company standards. Contributes to scientific data dissemination, medical training, and external relationships with thought leaders and professional societies. Provides regulatory support for label changes, risk management, and regulatory submissions. Business support entails developing medical strategies for demand realization, supporting commercialization activities, and engaging with payers, providers, and patients. Qualifications: MD or DO in Psychiatry, board eligible or certified (US), with 3+ years industry clinical development or 5+ years academic research, preferably in psychiatry. Skills include strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation abilities, with experience in drug development processes and medical monitoring. Fluency in English required. Preferred: clinical research in psychiatry, international experience, and travel capability. Location: Indianapolis, with remote/hybrid options; travel as needed.
