Clinical Research & Development Associate Director Myositis/Immunology

Role: Senior leader overseeing clinical development and strategy for novel therapeutics targeting inflammatory myopathies, Sjogren’s Disease, and autoimmune conditions. Responsibilities: integrate research, clinical, scientific, and commercial aspects; design and monitor studies evaluating scientific and commercial viability; oversee study delivery, including protocol development, feasibility, timelines, and risk management; guide global development plans and collaborate with CROs and external partners; participate in regulatory submissions and stakeholder communication; foster a culture of leadership, innovation, and staff development; ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Requirements: advanced degree (Master’s, PhD) in a relevant scientific or medical discipline; extensive knowledge of drug development processes, regulatory pathways, and therapeutic areas related to autoimmune and inflammatory diseases; strong leadership, project management, and communication skills; ability to travel internationally. Preferred: experience mentoring teams, managing change, and optimizing clinical processes; demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills.
