Clinical Research Associate II

Role: Clinical Site Engagement Specialist supporting AbbVie's oncology, immunology, and neuroscience trials through site management and monitoring. Objectives: Ensure compliant trial conduct, enhance data quality, and optimize patient recruitment and retention. Responsibilities: act as primary contact at investigative sites; train and motivate site staff; perform site evaluations, monitoring, and closure activities in line with GCP, ICH, and SOPs; develop site engagement strategies leveraging CRM tools; assess and mitigate risks proactively; and manage investigator payments. Qualifications: tertiary health-related degree preferred; minimum 1 year of clinical research experience, including at least 6 months in trial monitoring; knowledge of therapeutic areas pertinent to AbbVie’s pipeline; strong understanding of regulatory requirements and GCP guidelines; excellent stakeholder engagement, planning, and organizational skills; adept with monitoring tools and technology; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
