Clinical Research Associate (CRA) – Animal Health
Responsibilities:
- Perform and manage clinical monitoring activities, including site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits to ensure adherence to protocol, GCP/VICH guidelines, and company standards.
- Serve as primary point of contact for clinical trial sites (CROs and internal), building relationships and providing oversight to ensure study success and data integrity.
- Conduct data review and source data verification; resolve data queries with site personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness of study documentation.
- Identify and mitigate site-level risks; monitor and report protocol deviations or safety events (AEs/SAEs); support internal QA reviews or regulatory inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Clinical Development, Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, QA) to support project delivery and regulatory submission file development.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science or health-related field.
- 2+ years of clinical research experience, including monitoring or site management.
- Proficiency with clinical trial processes (GCP/VICH), data management systems (EDC), and collaborative tools (e.g., Veeva, MS Office); strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Animal health industry experience.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCRA, CCRC).
- Experience with farm animal and companion animal studies.
