Clinical Representative – Monarch Urology (NYC/NJ)
Purpose
- Field-based Clinical Representative role supporting procedural excellence, customer education, and utilization growth within an assigned territory (NYC/NJ).
You Will Be Responsible For
- Provide in-case procedural support and technical expertise to physicians, nurses, and staff using Monarch Urology in hospital and ambulatory surgery center environments.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through clinical support, training, education, and responsive service.
- Support account development to increase user competence and drive system/disposable utilization.
- Assist with product/clinical demonstrations, launch planning, training events, and customer education.
- Identify educational opportunities to improve proficiency, procedural efficiency, and clinical adoption.
- Partner with Area Sales Leader and Regional Business Director on business objectives, account plans, and referral development.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams; escalate issues and report complaints/technical concerns.
- Maintain expert product knowledge and understanding of kidney stone treatment workflows, customer needs, and procedural best practices.
- Lead/support account-level sales so products are purchased/in-stock to support procedures and account growth.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years relevant experience (or associate degree/medical certification + 5+ years).
- Clinical, medical device technical and/or sales, procedural support, operating room, or healthcare-related experience.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/clinical concepts to physicians and clinical staff.
- Strong customer service, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Work in all hospital departments/ambulatory surgery centers, including live patient cases with required protective equipment.
- Hospital credentialing and compliance with customer access requirements.
- Travel up to 90% (including overnight) within assigned territory; valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work in regulated environments.
Preferred
- Urology/endourology/surgical robotics or other highly technical procedural specialty experience.
Pay/Benefits (as stated)
- Base pay: $70,000; sales incentive compensation/MBO eligibility.
- J&J Fleet program (company car or allowance).
