Position Summary
The Clinical Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for timeline and budget management for assigned clinical studies within Clinical Operations. The CPM supports study/program teams and cross-functional stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver clinical trials through proactive coordination, financial oversight, and risk management.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage high-quality clinical study timelines aligned with program/corporate goals.
- Interface with study teams and cross-functional stakeholders for coordination and visibility.
- Identify timeline risks, communicate risks, and support mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal functional groups to support study milestones and program execution.
- Manage routine study status reporting (timeline and budget dashboards/updates).
- Provide monthly milestone/timeline updates to Project and Portfolio Management.
- Partner with Project and Portfolio Management to update resource demand/supply.
- Develop program scenario plans and support lifecycle management activities.
- Develop and manage study budgets (monthly forecasting and budget reviews with Clinical Trial Operations and Finance).
- Facilitate/oversee cost accruals for accurate financial reporting across sponsored trials.
- Analyze forecasted vs. accrued costs and study financial health.
- Partner with Finance to review variances and overall spend using PO/invoice data.
- Provide functional guidance/support to Associate Clinical Project Managers as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in related discipline (combination of education and experience may be considered).
- 7 years related experience in CRO/Biotech/Pharma with 2 years supervisory experience.
- Solid understanding of drug development and clinical operations.
- Strong organizational/time management and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Advanced computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Self-starter with minimal supervision.
- Effective in matrix cross-functional environments.
- Good business judgment and clinical financials knowledge.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, including presenting budget information.
- High accountability/urgency.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting complex, multi-study clinical programs.
- Experience working closely with Finance and Project/Portfolio Management.

Salary Range (as stated)
- $119,000 - $149,000.

Travel
- Up to 5% of time.
