Clinical Program Director, Early CVRM Clinical Development

Role: Senior Clinical Program Director overseeing global clinical development programs, leading the Clinical Program Team (CPT) to deliver strategic, high-quality clinical trials on time and within budget. Responsibilities include developing clinical strategies from scientific insights, managing program execution, optimizing feasibility and site engagement, overseeing risk management, and ensuring compliance with GxP, ICH, and ethical standards. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with global teams and external vendors, influencing development plans from preclinical to commercial stages. Requirements: PhD or Master’s in natural sciences or medicine; minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical drug development experience, including at least 5 years in clinical development leadership; proven program management skills, strategic thinking, and ability to influence broadly. Preferred: program management certification, experience across multiple therapeutic areas, and global organizational exposure. High-Value: leadership in late-stage clinical programs, complex project management, and extensive stakeholder engagement. Location: Cambridge, MA or Gaithersburg, MD; in-office work expected three days/week with flexibility.
