About The Role

Join our team at Neurocrine as a Clinical Practice Liaison (CPL) and play a pivotal role in fostering collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional organizations, and patient advocacy groups while working with Advanced Practice Providers. The ideal candidate will live in Columbus or Cleveland Ohio, Michigan or Western PA next to a major airport for ease of travel. Psychiatry/Neurology experience is strongly preferred, along with a terminal degree (DNP). Travel is about 50% or more.

Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)

As a CPL, you will be at the forefront of driving education and innovation, utilizing your expertise to engage and support healthcare providers and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include identifying and fostering strong relationships with national and state-level professional organizations, delivering disease-state education at patient advocacy events, and serving as a scientific resource for healthcare providers and internal teams.

In this role, you will actively participate in medical and nursing congresses, staying abreast of the latest literature and research within the therapeutic area to facilitate meaningful clinical and scientific interactions. Additionally, you will identify gaps in knowledge across various practice settings, provide insights from relevant congresses, and contribute to the development of educational programs based on input from the KOL community.

  • Identify and recommend research or project sites
  • Identify and communicate educational opportunities and market developments to internal partners
  • Be a scientific resource for internal Neurocrine training
  • Maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional functions
  • Identify gaps in knowledge across a range of practice settings and providers
  • Attend, support, and provide insights from medical/nursing congresses relevant to therapeutic area
  • Identify gaps in Advanced Practice Provider training and assessment as related to patient care (e.g., working with psych nursing program directors)
  • Provide feedback on and recommendations for resources to support CPLs in the field (i.e., slides, publications, etc.)
  • Timely entry of customer interactions into MSL System of Record
  • Complete assignments and reports by deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree, NP, CNS, PA or equivalent with the ability to prescribe; 6+ years similar experience OR
  • PhD or DNP degree and 4+ years of similar experience noted above
  • Has knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts of related business disciplines
  • Works to improve tools and processes within functional area
  • Developing reputation inside the company as it relates to area of expertise
  • Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams
  • Exhibits leadership skill and ability, typically leads lower levels and/or indirect teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
  • Sees broader picture, impact on multiple departments/divisions
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Therapeutic Area clinical expertise in Psychiatry or Neurology
  • Maintains advanced practice licensure and certification per individual state requirements
  • Ability to represent NBI in a professional manner at all times
  • Ability to follow fiscal guidelines

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $160,900.00-$233,400.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
