Role: Lead clinical pharmacology for Pfizer's Internal Medicine portfolio, focusing on model-informed drug development (MIDD) to support efficient drug discovery and decision-making. Responsibilities: design and oversee clinical pharmacology strategies, integrate PK/PD knowledge, contribute to clinical development plans, and support regulatory submissions (e.g., IND, NDA/MAA). Collaborate with multifunctional teams, ensuring appropriate dose and regimen selection through innovative modeling and analysis; coach team members, stay current with scientific literature and regulatory guidance; influence external scientific communities through publications and presentations. Qualifications: MD/PhD or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience in clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, or systems pharmacology; strong quantitative skills including experience with NONMEM, R, or similar tools; demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills; excellent communication abilities; ability to travel periodically. High-Value: Focus on small molecules or biologics in early to late-stage development within the Internal Medicine therapeutic area, emphasizing quantitative pharmacology and model-based approaches. Work setup: hybrid, based in the U.S., requiring onsite presence around 2.5 days/week; relocation assistance may be available.
