Role Summary

Clinical Pharmacist to support clinical trials and ensure the safe and compliant handling of investigational products. Full-time, office-based position in Dallas, TX. You will work with leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development, establishing safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of a new drug.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sponsors to ensure pharmacy and dispensing capabilities meet study requirements.
  • Review and contribute to study protocols, pharmacy manuals, and preparation documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and good dispensing practices.
  • Oversee pharmacy equipment and manage routine preparation activities.
  • Support Sponsor visits and foster strong professional relationships.
  • All other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required: Registered Pharmacist or PharmD in applicable state.
  • Preferred: Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Required: 2 years in a pharmacy setting (hospital setting preferred).
  • Required: Knowledge of GxP standards (GMP, GCP).
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

  • Clinical judgment and high standard of clinical research.
  • Effective communication with sponsors and cross-functional teams.

Education

  • Pharmacist license (State-specific) or PharmD as applicable.

Additional Requirements

  • Work is performed in a laboratory and/or clinical environment with exposure to electrical equipment; occasional domestic travel.
  • Exposure to biological fluids; personal protective equipment required.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 15-20 lbs and maintaining varied hours.
