Main Responsibilities:
- Provide input into operational strategy; develop operational assumptions and operational plans to propose optimal clinical operations solutions and scopes of work for global study budgets.
- Ensure study/program performance within CSO; drive multi-disciplinary CSO project team to meet project requirements and objectives.
- Plan and manage COSL resources; drive and coach COSLs for study execution.
- Represent CSO in collaboration and goal setting with other functions/enabling functions to meet clinical development plan requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Contribute to CSO business expansion and innovation, including use of digital tools/AI to accelerate the portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational processes and drive operational excellence.
- Manage and develop team (direct reports/COSLs): complete performance/development cycles, set priorities, identify skills/needs, support Individual Development Plans, and provide regular feedback.
- Mentor COPL/COSL and other indirect reports.

Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelorβs degree in Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences or related field; 15+ years lab/medical/pharmaceutical R&D experience, including at least 10 years managing projects or international clinical studies.
- Advanced degree preferred.
