Clinical Laboratory Technologist- Microbiology

Role: Clinical Laboratory Professional responsible for performing routine and complex tests in a high-volume clinical laboratory setting, ensuring specimen quality, troubleshooting instrumentation, and delivering accurate results. Responsibilities: evaluate specimens, operate/testing equipment, maintain quality control, prepare reagents, report results, and assist with specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science or Medical Technology, 1+ year of lab testing experience or MLS credential, FL Medical Technologist license. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification. Work setup: full-time shifts at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL, working 4x10-hour shifts including rotating weekends.
