Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Role: Technologist in the Microbiology team responsible for specimen testing, instrument monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality control to ensure accurate patient results. Responsibilities include specimen evaluation, performing routine and complex tests per SOPs, maintaining instrumentation, preparing reagents, reporting results, and supporting laboratory operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Biological or Chemical sciences or Medical Technology, with at least 1 year of clinical lab testing experience or an MLS degree. Preferred: 3+ months of experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-value: Clinical microbiology, laboratory testing, specimen processing, quality assurance, high-volume lab environment, proficiency with lab information systems, and attention to detail. Work setup: On-site in Florence, SC, with a Tuesday to Friday schedule, rotating weekends; flexibility for overtime and shifts as needed.
